Your Government Should be Open and Accessible to the Public
For too long Kent County residents have been left out of serious discussions at the county commission. Just this September, citizens were shut out of the commission chambers.
Stephen Wooden challenged the legality of this decision, and as your new Kent County Commissioner, he’ll work for real transparency, end the policy of closed meetings and work to stop gerrymandering of local districts.
Here’s more of what we can get done with new leaders like Stephen Wooden on the County Commission:
A Fair Budget that Works for You: Ensuring your hard-earned tax dollars are finally invested back in our own neighborhoods.
A Champion for Education: Building a stronger foundation through early childhood and skilled-trades education.
Clean Water: Protect our drinking water, and hold those who provide it and pollute it accountable.
Accessible and Affordable Healthcare: filling gaps in coverage and make prescription drugs more affordable, for everyone.
