Lower costs stronger schools better politics
hi, I’m stephen wooden
From working across the aisle to build more housing while defending voting rights against far-right attacks, I’ve shown I’ll work with anyone and stand up to anyone to make Michigan fairer, freer, and more affordable. I am running for re-election to lower costs, strengthen schools and make politics better for everyday folks.

Only in his first term, Rep. Stephen Wooden was able to pass signature legislation in one of the least productive legislatures in Michigan history.
As the ranking Democrat on the House Election Integrity Committee, Stephen has stood up to those who want to undermine our elections and make it harder for citizens to vote.
Before serving in the state house, he was a Kent County Commissioner for six years. There, he also built a track record of working across the aisle to get things done without compromising his values.
Stephen and his wife, Adelyn, live on Grand Rapids’ northeast side with their son and daughter.
